Approach

Before anything is prescribed, a diagnosis.

Most AI work goes wrong at the same place: a prescription is written before a diagnosis is done. A founder arrives with a self-diagnosis — I need an AI chatbot, I need a workflow automation, I need an agent — and is sold the thing they asked for. Sometimes it was the right thing. Often it was not. Almost always, the question of whether the prescription fit the actual problem was never seriously asked.

The Discovery session exists to do that asking carefully.

Ninety minutes, structured around two parallel investigations. The first looks at the business — what is actually painful, slow, fragile, or stuck; what you want more of; what would change if the right thing here got better. The second looks at the work itself — how a representative piece of the work actually gets done, where it holds you up, where too much lives in your head, where the seams are.

By the end of the session, we will have identified one leverage area worth acting on and the right way to act on it — or we will have decided together that there isn’t enough here to act on, or there is, but it needs a narrower second pass to become clear.

The promise.

If we do not find a meaningful leverage area and the right next step, I will either continue at no cost until we do, or refund the fee. That is the full promise and the full guarantee.

What we will not do in the session.

Teach AI in the abstract. Demonstrate prompt tricks. Run through a generic framework. Deliver a template you could have downloaded. Inspire you with possibilities. Convince you of anything.

The session is diagnostic, not promotional. If at the end we discover that there isn’t a meaningful leverage area here, that is a finding, not a failure. You will leave with the diagnosis either way.

On the fee.

Discovery is paid. The fee is stated on the Begin page. A paid first session makes a promise a free call cannot: that the ninety minutes will be spent finding leverage, not auditioning to earn the right to find it. That is why the guarantee can be strong. It is also why the work that follows, if there is work that follows, starts from a cleaner footing than a free call could produce.

If this sounds like the shape of conversation you want to have about your work, the first step is here. Begin →
